and will have people trying to guess what
you've added.
Great in Nori rolls with greens, avocado,
sprouts, tomatoes and a sprinkle of Fiesta
Mole.
Great mixed with shelled Edamame Beans for a
richly robust flavor appealing to most anyone.
Great added to baked potato for an upscale
transitional dish.
** Notes:
- What are "activated nuts"?
An activated nut is a nut that has been
soaked and sprouted to release its enzyme
inhibitors.
The activation process requires nuts to be
soaked in water for a period of 12-24 hours
depending on the nut variety. This
deactivates the enzyme inhibitors and brings
the nut to life. Nuts are then dehydrated.
Once they're dehydrated these nuts taste very
similar to roasted nuts.
If you are just beginning your raw food
journey, soak nuts overnight, rinse, drain
and continue with the recipe instructions
above.
- Salt:
Please use a high quality salt, such
as Himalayan Crystal Salt you can purchase at
any health food store. Consuming a good
quality salt is very important for our
bodies. I only use Sun Fire
Salt which is made by David Favor of Radical
Health in Austin. You can get more info
